Yesterday with the help of high lake levels and a few friends. I was able to get my Catalina 25 out of the cove. It is no longer stuck. This Thursday it will get it moved to Joe Pool Lake. After than I will start the clean up process..

So this means I'll stop being a lurker and I'll actually start being an active participant.

Pics? Videos?

You must be very blessed to have such generous friends, who give up their free time and help with such a difficult and challenging task.

BTW - your carpet is out in the backyard, drying in the sun.

Maybe this was already posted in another thread - but I heard on the national news there was a lake in TX that rose 3'. That would be huge at our lake!

I was gonna ask how the levels rose enough recently for you to get out? Looking at the current level, it's full. Did you guys get a massive rain up there?

You need to drop into Canyon with Derek and I where it's much bluer. ;)

We came up alot thanks to that last rainfall. The area out by the lake got almost 6", so there was a ton of runoff. Lake came up about 4'....and that was just enough to get down that channel and get the boat out of the cove.
