Ok, I think I have the solution to the wet bilge, This is the setup on our Ericson and it never entered my mind to do it this way. You need to mount a jobsco Par diaphram pump on the backside of the rear bulkhead, make a syphon loop then out to a thru hull - high. On the other side run a 3/4 marine grade line down under the pan liner from back behind the cooler storage and add a metal strainer on the end, get a 3 way switch and you will have a on, off, and auto feature. If you want add a float switch rear of the cooler storage and run directly to the battery - its right there, add a inline fuse.
Thats is it, you can get water out, its down low under the liner and its out of the way. the pump is about 145.00 float switch is 19.00 and fused switch is 30.00
Yepper.. I've been lookin at that. ( on my catalina 25 )
I had the 2 through hulls aft glassed over this week and I've been looking at a way to drain the aft sink and the bait box with a pump. That would be interesting to look at a 3 way tubing switch to add the bilge to the system.
