I got my Autohelm ST1000+ a week or so ago, but don't plan to install for a couple more weeks due to work schedule. I didn't want to miss out on Sailnet's deal.

Anyway, I've seen this covered for C-25s, but not C-250s...do I need to buy any additional pieces before installing, i.e., extensions, brackets, etc., or can I plan on installing it straight from the box? I see where the socket was mounted on "Allis" in the tech tips, but I'm looking for others' ideas.

Thanks for the advice.

BTW, I just finished running my main halyard and reefing line to the cockpit, thanks to everyone who helped me with that project, I'll get some pictures soon.
