Well, I can trade in my year old F-150 for an F-350, that should only cost 4-5 time as much a the boat. You don't think the various police would notice the 11' beam on my way to Florida, do you?

Old friends had a C-30 they stored at home on a trailer (until a tree fell on it). They had it pulled to and from by something like an F-450 (or maybe it was a Freightliner). Around here, most boats that size go on flatbed tractor-trailer rigs with signage and escorts as required in each state. This is only the second time I've ever heard of a C-30 on a trailer!

Every C 30 here at Lake Cheney is on a trailer, some yard trailers but most road trailers and several go home for the winter. That is probably 15 boats. It is also why most have smooth bottoms with VC 17 on them, they are so easy to work on when you have a trailer.
