Hi, I have a Garhauer 2 spring for sale. It is excellent. I upgraded to a 9.9 otbd and it's a little much to raise at my age. I'd rather it go to someone nearby as mailing it would be $$. I'm in southern RI. I can send it. Looking for $150 or BO. If interested send me a PM. Jay

I sort of doubt it. If you look at the bracket at defender and then at the Garhauer, you'll see they are totally different. Mine is closer to this one- http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|215570|1825671|2348991&id=56240 $234.99 And if you look at the posts in the forum, by far everyone favors the Garhauer. Jay

True but for certain reasons. It is what Catalina used on the boats so it an easy swap with no drilling of holes. It has enormous vertical travel that you can't find in other mounts and is needed on the 25's. It's well made BUT I doubt you will find many here that are interested in a 2 springer. Most are looking to upgrade to 3-4 springers like you for the same reasons, 8-10 hp 4 strokes are just to heavy for the 2 springer. You might have better luck on E-Bay or smaller boat sites who use 5-6hp motors. Just a suggestion.
