Yesterday Amazon had a Black Friday type sale. So did Wal*Mart.
Anybody take advantage?

I bought but not because of the Prime day. I am a big Prime user. I told my Echo to order dog food the other day and it did.

Frank - I saw that the Echo was on sale the other day but since I already have a few BlueTooth speakers I didn't think much of it. Then, after your post I double-checked on it and its a pretty cool device. It incorporates Google Voice recognition, a phased array microphone and connects with your smartphone's browser to order all kinds of stuff, ask what the temperature is in Cincinatti, figure out how many kilojoules are in a hectare of seaweed, whatever.
My wife told me that I could have gotten a Mac Mini on Wal*Mart's ecommerce site that day for ~$249.99 which is a great price. Coulda woulda shoulda!
