Is there anything I should look out for when installing the furling hardware? The videos online make it look super easy. I just don't want to break the kit or my rigging by doing something silly.

If you follow the directions you'll be fine. A couple of items do come to mind, though. 1. Make sure you have a toggle where the headstay connects to the masthead. That lets the headstay flex in any direction without damaging the swaging. For some reason I missed that when I installed mine, and ended up having to drop the mast to install the toggle. 2. Get some helpers to keep the foil under control when you unfasten the tape. There's a lot of coiled tension there and you could get hurt if you tried it solo. I think both of these points are covered in the instructions, but those are the ones that stand out for me. Good luck.
