I am losing the battle to keep water out of my boat. I can live with that. The windows by the head leak and water gets in through a fan in the same area. The upshot is during our rainy months I get several cups of water on the floor by the head. The way the floor is formed it stays up there and does not venture back into the main cabin.
Is this a crazy idea?: Drill a little hole in the floor at the low point of the floor by the head and let the water just drain through. I'm pretty sure :-) there is a gap between the outer boat layer and the floor near the head. I imagine the water would just end up in the bilge.
Thoughts? Other solutions?

I think we just had a thread on your problem.http://www.catalina-capri-25s.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=28925 I don't know if that area would drain to the bilge, Might be blocked by a stiffener or rib. It would be great if Catalina had a photo of the hull without the liner installed...Might be worth giving them a call.

Definitely an athwarship rib at the saloon/head bulkhead. I suggest just sponging it up where it is until you fix the leaks, much easier than getting it out of the bilge. You will also avoid the "out of sight, out of mind" trap.
