I have not seen anything regarding a mounting method for a Dingy motor on board a Catalina 250 and would appreciate any suggestions you have. Thanks, Chief

We hang ours on the outside of the Stbd Catbird Seat (only because we have the Lifesling on the Port side)
I did have a carpy plywood motor mount, but it didn't take the weather. Now I just put the motor on the top outside rail of the seat, wind in the motor mounting securing bolts and it's in place.
And of course there was an article in one of our sailing magazines on making a motor cover, I thought for a few seconds about making one, but the dink spends most of it's time in the garage and only goes outside when we launch the boat.
Having the handle (harness or cover) on top of the motor sure makes it easy to handle when getting into the dink.
Henk & Paul: Thanks for your help. If I hang that motor on Carole's catbird seat she will have a fit! Couldn't put it on my seat as the boat already has a starboard list! ha Henk that whole sternrail arrangement sure isn't like mine. Guess most of the time I will just leave it on the 10.5 Dingy and just drag it along. Chief
