I joined a few weeks ago, paid the fee, which included the mainsheet magazine, but when I checked my account it appears that I won't be receiving it. Any help?

When I went to "my subscriptions" it said "none".
Is it possible to receive the last issue mailed out?

Also, can you tell me how to change the word "deck hand" on my name?

Deck hand simply indicates the forum member's experience on the forum.

As your history of participation in forum post develops, your tag will elevate.

Kathi,

Yes, we can send you the previous Mainsheet issue.
Membership includes the Mainsheet quarterly magazine.

The subscription you mentioned is not for the magazine, but a forum subscription. The forum has a feature where when someone asks a question, they may want to be notified when someone else replies. The original person (or anyone else) can "subscribe" to a post. When someone replies, An email will be sent to anyone who has subscribed. If you look near the bottom of this page you should see "subscribe to this topic".

Next, for new forum users, the title is Deck Hand.
I can override the default value.
What title would you like to use.

Not sure how to earn the title, but I'm the captain of both my catalina 25 and Merit 22, and I race in the bay area, sail in Monterey Bay and along the coast, But whatever title is appropriate for my forum experience is fine. I'm still figuring out how to get around in the forum.

Welcome to the forum.
I live in San Ramon and have sailed out of Berkeley and Richmond marinas.
There are quite a few Bay Area sailors on the forum.
Feel free to ask questions.
