Sad news, I had to sell my #701 and she is heading to Croatia coasts.
We are going to buy some new and smaller boat with retractable dagger keel so I can trailer her and spend more time at beaches with my little kids. At least that is the vision.
Sold for asking price $16600 at current exchange rate.
Thanks everyone all kinds of help you provided here in such wonderful community.
I wish such forum exists for all kind of sailboats.

If anyone is interested in the advert I had, see here.

But don't worry, I will try to stalk here as much I can

Wow Tom, That is sad. Of the boats on this site, high Anxiety ranked for me top of the list. G/L in you next sailing adventure. Be sure to invite the buyer onto the site.

Tomas - I second the Wow! Beautiful boat, and a real inspiration...one of a kind out of the thousands made. Tough decision I suspect but a grand opening for new opportunities/adventures. We wish you and your family all the best!

Thanks all!

It was tough, I invested many hours restoring since I got her and she still needs some more. My curse is that I'm a perfectionist and keeping her on top needs more time.
I love restoring the boats, but what I love more is sailing.
I don't have time right now so I hope that new boat will satisfy my needs for a while

I will keep you informed when we buy some new.

Sure I will tell the new owner to visit this forum.

I couldn't understand a word! (...except the name, the model, and the maker.) I had forgotten about the sugar-scoop transom--that's definitely a unique C-25, in a different class from the rest of ours!

Dinghy sailing is perhaps my favorite activity on earth, (well, second favorite) and a great way to engage kids in sailing and and in having fun with their parents. Their participation can be so much more intense, and they're not "stuck" on a boat. I kicked in half so my (then) 12-year-old daughter could buy an old Sunfish that she could actually sail, as opposed to help sail. It was a whole different thing!

I congratulate you on going in that direction, at least for now... Family should be the first passion! And welcome to our Admiralty!

Tomas,

The new owner must have been very impressed with High Anxiety - the Croatia coast is quite a distance from Prague.

You should share with us pix of your (future) new boat.

We will not say good bye - but good luck!

That is one awesome boat. I never even knew that there was C25 with sugar scoop transom. wow. That's one lucky new owner to score this boat!

Sugar scoop was added by professionals paid by PO. The overall lenght is then 8m, but LWL is the same.

I know about two C27 here in Czech Republic that has the same modification:
