"Seaworthy" has an article on the deputy driven Baja/O'day collision - Boat/US is the sailboat's insurer. Insurance covered the civil trial, but insurance doesn't cover the criminal trial coming up in January. They included the address for a legal defense fund for the sailor that Latitude 38 is sponsoring:

Make checks payable to Bismark Dinius and include
"Bismark Dinius Legal Defense Fund" in the "memo" section
