A gentalman in Finley Ohio just won the bid for my boat on eBay. Man, did he get a deal. $3500.00 was my reserve and I thought I would go over that, but noooooo, he just hit the reserve and no one else bid. I think I could have done better parting it out.....but I would never do that to MY boat. Not to worry, I'll be looking for a newer model by this time next year. Cheers.

That is ok Frank. I got what I have into it so there is no loose. I also have a firm Idea of what I want in my next boat so all the work I did was naught for naught. Cheers.

Congrats Dennis! I'm sure you have mixed feelings to be boatless... BTW will you continue to be the Mainsheet Editor?

Hi Henk, yes I will still be involved. Did you recieve a copy of the Mainsheet? I was a little disapointed with how much they peared it down, and did'nt include any pictures. It was truely their loss. Cheers.

Glad to hear that you will continue the function as Mainsheet Editor and thank you for all the work you do

No... I haven't seen a copy yet... at the cost of $3.00 US plus shipping I've ordered some to be shipped to the kids in BC...

Hopefully when we visit/tour the Catalina Yachts facility in Lagos, Florida in a couple of weeks we'll get hold of a copy.

Dennis,

If you're ever in Sandusky and looking for a ride, let me know. I'll enjoy both the company and the lessons.

Yep, Findlay, OH. In my auction I had a link to the forum and told the guy who is buying the boat all about this forum and suggested he join. Cheers.

I know that people say the happiest days of your life are the day you buy your boat and the day you sell it. But I would find that hard to believe for our forum members. I know it must be bitter-sweet letting her go.
