saman2929	Posted - 11/16/2020 : 11:10:15 I have a 1983 Catalina 25 with a pop-top, and a Pop-top cover. The boat is new to me. The Cover was stored inside the Boat for 9 years on the Hard. The Pop-top covers a white vinyl Material with clear plastic side ports. It will require a minor investment in professional canvas repair in order to be used. I attempted to install it on my open pop-top and It had shrunk a great amount and it is nowhere near being able to stretch it enough to fit the snaps. Is there a way to stretch it out enough to snap in place and then let the stretch take a set? I tried it on days with the Temperatures in the Low 80'sF. I am sure some of you have encountered this problem, and I am hoping to hear about your clever solution, as Brut Forse is not working for me.

Sailynn	Posted - 11/19/2020 : 23:21:52 Extend a Snap are one length. If you need more, or longer ones use a strip of sunbrella and make your own. I tried the ones shown in picture and they are made with a soft leather and in my experience the snap rip out of the leather.

'Seems to me that might be better than risking tearing the pop-top cover while trying to stretch it. 'Just a thought ... good luck!
