Posted - 01/07/2020 : 13:40:15 I’ve had a couple for years. They work better than the cabin lights and save your battery. Also great at home for power outages. We hang one on the flashing mode in the cockpit when going out for dinner in a crowded anchorage and then we can find the boat easily when we return in the dark.

Last summer my anchor light quit so I hoisted them both up the main halyard as an anchor light. Worked great. Sadly at the end of this season however the cold cracked the plastic and a rain wetted the inside and ruined one of them. I’ll probably buy another one next season since they work so well. They can be had at boat shows pretty inexpensively.
